Training Division-The Division of Fire Service Training is responsible for assisting local governments in improving the levels of education and training standards for local firefighters and emergency responders. See the column on the right for pertinent information.

Firefighter Exam questions and study guides are written by a staff of Nationally Certified Firefighters with over 20 years of experience and this experience is included in our examinations. Each question is based upon the NFPA 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications. This national standard is used by most fire departments to certify at the Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 levels. Are you an EMT? If not take a class first, if you are already one join EMT National Training where certified instructors have compiled EMT questions from the EMT Basic to Paramedic levels.
